Who is CHAC?

Since becoming incorporated in 1994, Circular Head Aboriginal Corporation (CHAC) has grown into a prominent organisation that employs 58 staff across 21 programs, supported by 8 volunteers. Operating out of five key locations in Circular Head, CHAC serves as a pillar for the Aboriginal community by embracing culture to inspire and empower Aboriginal people. CHAC reinvests 70% of its profits into funding culture and service delivery in the Circular Head community and surrounding areas, ensuring a future that honours their past.

CHAC’s Programs and Services

CHAC offers a comprehensive range of programs to support the community, focusing on cultural preservation, wellbeing, and social support. The Culture and Capability Program promotes intergenerational transmission of Indigenous knowledge, while wellbeing initiatives address mental health, family violence, and holistic health. Programs for children and families provide support from birth through adulthood, including maternal health, education, and family support services. Aged care and disability services encompass Home and Community Care, Commonwealth Home Support, Home Care Packages, and NDIS support.
