We are grateful for this recognition because this award means a lot, by being recognised as finalist for the 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 . I’m saying this, not only for the hard work we put in and our ever seeking ambition to better our Indigenous community, delivering excellent legal outcomes for our clients but, beyond this we are all on the journey together as First Nations’ businesses to deliver outstanding results all in the pursuit of “Blak Excellence”.

Here, at AMK Law, a big part of my work is to empower my clients and First Nations businesses by succeeding through entrepreneurialism, innovation and through the law. So to be recognised for excellence by our peers, First Nations leaders and within our Aboriginal community is something we are especially honoured to be a part of.

The Kinaway Business Awards provide such a fantastic way for us to all come together as Indigenous business so we can yarn, share and grow by inspiring each other with Blak Excellence in mind.

I also want to express my appreciation for my ancestors, my family, Narungga and Kokatha peoples as well as all First Nations peoples, our Elders past and present for standing strong to overcome the injustices and suffering of the past. None of our First Nations businesses would be here without you.
